ANGEL GARCIA DE JALON

Pintor y fotógrafo nacido en Viana (Navarra) en 1898. Cursó estudios de pintura en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Paris y permaneció en Francia entre 1916 y 1926, formándose bajo la tutela de maestros como Humbert, Arlande y Benson Benjamin. Se ha destacado, fundamentalmente, en su labor de fotógrafo. En 1939, el rey Alfonso XIII le llamó a Roma para que retratase a la familia real. Durante la guerra civil había sido fotógrafo de Franco. En 1946 se organizó una exposición en el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores con las fotos del general Franco. Sus trabajos llevan la firma de "Jalón Angel".
